The Salty Potters

Low-Fire Glazes (cones 06 - 04)

The Salty Potters is well stocked with glazes which are beautiful when fired at low temperature (cones 06 - 04). Low temperature firing is suitable for decorative pottery. Most of these glazes also do well at mid-temperature firings (cones 5 & 6). If your pottery will be used for food or liquid, you will need to have the final firing at mid-temperature to be food safe and dinnerware safe (depending on the glaze).  Visit the Mayco website for more details on these glazes.

DO NOT dip your brush in bottles. Pour into cups. Stir well before pouring and before applying each coat to your bisque ware. This glaze contains crystals, so it's important for the crystals to be equally dispersed throughout the glaze before pouring and applying.
