This three-session class is designed for members who are new to the pottery wheel. Students will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including preparing and centering clay, forming basic shapes, trimming, and glazing. Upon successful completion of all three sessions, participants will be qualified to use the pottery wheels during open studio hours.
This is an introductory qualification class for first-time wheel students. To keep spaces available for members who still need to become wheel qualified, please do not register if you have previously completed this class or are already qualified to use our wheels.
Attendance at all three sessions is required. Class size is limited to six students.
